Bethesda Game Studios, the developers of Starfield, have packaged a small teaser for the possibly upcoming expansion to mark the two-year anniversary of the space RPG.
If you look carefully, you can spot the inscription 'Terran Armada'; which in Latin means 'Fleet of Earth' or 'Earth Fleet.' Will a new expansion place a larger or new focus on Earth? A new faction?
The game itself was last updated on July 22, 2025; with improvements, bug fixes, etc.

So far, so-called "Creations", i.e., downloadable game content created by community members, have been promoted in communications from Bethesda Game Studios. But community-created, interesting-looking ships have also been highlighted in marketing.
There is chatter, speculation, and a desire for some kind of improved travel with your own spaceship from planet to planet; a kind of overhaul for this aspect of the game.
Whether 'Terran Armada' is a new faction; including new weapons, armor, powers, or new vehicles, and perhaps the travel with starships will be revised, we will probably see that no earlier than in an official announcement.
